The VIP lounge in building 222 of Fraport AG at Frankfurt am Main Airport is located directly at Terminal 1. As part of the VIP service, it serves as a welcome lounge for guests and provides a luxurious start or end point for their flight. The design and comfort of the lounge meet the standards of the 5-star hotel industry and create a cozy, modern ambience.
The area that is occupied by the VIP lounge is a former holding area in shell condition that previously had no spatial subdivision or technical building equipment. It extends over two floors and, in addition to the actual guest areas, also includes staff areas with lounges, storage areas and kitchens for catering to guests.
In addition to two conference areas, guests have access to several lounge areas, private suites, a smokers' lounge and sanitary facilities with showers. The heart of the VIP lounge is the piano bar. At approx. 150 square meters, this is the largest room and also has a bar. Integrated into the lounge is a Federal Police checkpoint for the security check that every guest must go through before departure.
The guest areas are furnished to a very high standard. In addition to natural stone, real wood floors and fabric coverings on the walls, elaborate carpentry work such as built-in furniture and wood paneling on the walls will also be produced.
